Get to know the newest member of our MTC Recruitment team, Mary Tuima!

Where did you work prior to MTC?

I was working at Tigers (a 3PL warehouse) for MTC on an online section for Bath and Body Works, although prior to that I was working at Global Skills Parramatta in jobactive.

What made you want to come and work at MTC?

My consultant Charlie and I were joking about me working with her in the office. Two days later, she called me to come in for an interview with my now-boss Dale Smith. Today I am here, I love my team and the atmosphere MTC Recruitment holds.   

What are you responsible for in your role at MTC?

I am currently undergoing a traineeship here for MTC Recruitment. My role is Recruitment Resourcer, I take all the admin responsibilities my account managers have for each of their clients and source suitable candidates to fill in vacancies that may be available.

Tell us a bit about your life outside of work.

I am a mother to a beautiful little girl. I play sports such as oz-tag and netball. My time consumes with family, church, and planning short term goals with my partner for our growing family.

What did you to get up to over the Christmas break?

I spent my time eating a lot of food, hanging out with my family and relaxing.

What are some of your goals (work or personal) for 2021?

I want to finish off my traineeship so I can hopefully become an Account Manager and I want to accomplish a down payment to purchase our first home next year.
