Forklift Driver

One of Australia’s leading suppliers of dairy products is looking for experienced Forklift Drivers to join their team for an immediate start. Located in GREENACRE

Due to peak in production, they require additional staff to work across a DAY shift

The role requires skills that cover:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move pallets of cheese or other meat products around the factory
• Putaways
• Picking and packing of products
• Dealing with raw meats and dairy products
• Working on a fast-paced production line
• Other warehousing duties as required

To be successful you will:

• Previous experience working in a chilled warehouse (6 degrees) would be highly regarded for these roles
• A Food manufacturing background would be ideal
• Confident operating a counterbalance forklift
• Current LF forklift licence
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to start work immediately
• Possesses good communication skills
• Physically fit and healthy and can lift up to 20kilos
• Be able to commit to on-going work
• Able to work overtime and long shift hours (up to 10-11hrs per day)
• Flexible to do other duties within the factory
• Have full Australian working rights
• Have had at least one dose of COVID 19 vaccine

Hours of work are Monday to Friday – 6am starts. There is plenty of overtime on offer

Before placement onsite you will be required to have obtained a negative COVID test result
