Our client is seeking experienced Qualified Tradesman / Machinists to work with a high-profile manufacturing and Heavy Engineering client in Smeaton Grange
You will be responsible for general maintenance and operating machines
To be successful for these roles it is ideal that you hold any of the following:
GRINDER - Monday to Thursday - 7am to 3:30pm & Friday is 7am to 1pm
CNC Lathe Machinist – Monday to Thursday – 3:15pm to 11:45pm & Friday is 12:45pm to 6:45pm
Please note that for the CNC Lathe Machinist the first 2 months you will be working on a day shift before you move on the afternoon shift!!

You will be responsible for general maintenance and operating machines
To be successful for these roles it is ideal that you hold any of the following:
- Holds a Mechanical Engineering Cert III qualification with Australian Work Experience
- Mechanical Trades Experience in either Fitting / Turning or Toolmaking
- Cylindrical grinding / surface grinding experience preferred
- Experience with Okuma
- Metal coating experience would be an advantageous
- Adaptable and versatile
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A polished and professional work ethic
