Our client is seeking an experienced Qualified Tradesman / Mechanical Fitter / Machinist to work for a well-known manufacturing company of industry-leading foods, cosmetic and pharmaceutical tubes in Smithfield.
This position is working on a special project for 6-9months commencing on refurbishments / reconditioning of high speed, automated machinery in FMCG.
This is a day shift role and you must be trade qualified with recent experience and reference checks within the Fitting / Machinist field.
To be successful for this role It is ideal that you hold the following:
Base salary for permanent approx. $35hr + Super.

To be successful for this role It is ideal that you hold the following:
- Trade certificate in either Fitting / Turning or Machining
- Experience in preventative and breakdown works
- Basic experience in MIG Welding
- Milling, turning of parts
- Electrical ticket/knowledge would be advantageous
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Work within a team environment and autonomously.
- A polished and professional work ethics
- Reliable transport and available to work every 3rd SATURDAYS of the month
