MTC Recruitment is part of a Social Enterprise who forms true partnerships with many businesses across the Sydney Metro Area.  Currently, our Client is looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to join their team on a 6 month contract basis.
About the role:
An opportunity has become available to join a collaborative People & Culture team within a Not-For-Profit organisation.  This role is based in Marrickville with flexible work from home options, and includes regular travel to other sites in the greater Sydney region.
Reporting to the General Manager People and Culture you will:
  • Partner to achieve business plan objectives for your allocated division and people and culture team
  • Provide end to end HR generalist advice to your client group
  • Provide support with proactive people initiatives – including culture change using the OCI, well-being, diversity and inclusion, our reconciliation action plan, learning and development
Essential Criteria:
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience in working as a business partner across all areas of generalist HR
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused and customer-centric approach to HR
  • Ability to develop strong partnering relationships at all levels
  • Business acumen – ability to understand a business plan and translate to HR support
  • Strong communication skills combined with analytical and strategic thinking
  • Experience in WHS is desirable
