People & Culture Business Partner

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our supportive and collaborative People & Culture team, based in Marrickville with flexible work from home options. Please note travel to other sites in the greater Sydney region will be required.

Reporting to the General Manager People and Culture you will:

·      Partner with your allocated division to successfully achieve the goals of the business division and the People & Culture strategic plan.

·      Provide end to end HR generalist advice to your client group on a range of people-related issues.

·      Get involved and drive proactive people initiatives – including culture change, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, our reconciliation action plan, learning and development.

 

About you:

The ideal applicant we are seeking will have:

·      Demonstrated experience in working as a Business Partner across all areas of generalist HR

·      A pragmatic, solutions-focussed and customer-centric approach to HR

·      Tertiary qualification in HR or related field, or experience deemed equivalent

·      Ability to develop strong partnering relationships at all levels

·      Business acumen – ability to understand a business plan and translate to HR support

·      Strong communication skills combined with analytical and strategic thinking skills

·      Experience in WHS is desirable
