The Opportunity Hub’s focus is to inspire young Aboriginal primary and secondary students to succeed in school and to actively plan for their future post school. The key to your success in this role is your ability to:

  • Assist students to successfully set goals, plan and strive towards sustainable work or further education.
  • Facilitation of workshops with Aboriginal students.
  • Working collaboratively with schools and the Campbelltown Indigenous community.

About You:

  • Qualifications in Welfare, Youth, Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal people and communities.
  • Experience working with at-risk young people and demonstrated understanding of issues facing young people at risk.
  • Proven ability to meet outcomes and key performance indicators.
  • Demonstrated experience measurably assisting disengaged young people to remain in school and or participate in further education.
  • Sound level written and oral communication skills.
  • Current NSW Driver’s License and your own car.
  • Current Working With Children’s Check.
