Boilermaker / Fabricator

The opportunity

Are you a qualified Boilermaker or Fabricator with a knack for heavy vehicle work? Join a well-organised workshop in the Parramatta area where your trade skills will be put to good use on truck mounted lifting systems including crane and hook loader installations. You’ll be part of a skilled team working with top-of-the-line equipment in a clean, safe environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Modifying and installing vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders
• Assembling and disassembling crane and hook loader components
• Building RHS subframes to engineering specifications
• Assisting fitters with new installs as required
• Installing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components
• Completing quality and process control documentation
• Working safely and following site procedures

What You’ll Need:

• Trade qualification (Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication)
• Experience in heavy vehicle work (cranes/hook loaders a bonus)
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and job prioritisation skills
• Current Driver’s Licence (HR preferred)
• Able to pass a medical and police check
