CNC Machinist

Our client is seeking Two experienced CNC Machinists to work with a high-profile manufacturing and Heavy Engineering company in Smeaton Grange. 

Morning Shift - Lathe machines offering $35 per hour

(Monday to Thursday 7am to 3:30pm & Friday from 7am to 1pm)

Afternoon Shift -Milling machines offering $35 plus loading

(Monday to Friday from 3:15pm to 11:45pm)

Permanent Morning and Afternoon shift with an immediate start for the successful applicant. PLENTY of OVERTIME on offer. You must have local experience.

You will be responsible for general maintenance and operating CNC machines - Lathes / Milling machines

To be successful for these roles it is ideal that you hold any of the following: 

·      Holds a Mechanical Engineering Cert III qualification with Australian Work Experience

·      Mechanical Trades Experience in either Fitting / Turning or Toolmaking

·      Worked with Metal Coatings / Metal spraying would be ideal

·      Experience using fanuc controls - OKUMA would be an advantage

·      Able to undertake and pass a medical test including drug and alcohol

·      Adaptable and versatile 

·      Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

·      Good verbal and written communication skills

·      A polished and professional work ethics
