My client is proud to be home to Australia’s most comprehensive range of online steel and metal products located in Kings Park

Due to new projects and continued growth, they are requiring counter sales staff to join their team for an immediate start.

These roles will be initially working on a casual basis with the view to permanency for the right applicant.

Commencing on the day shift, and after a qualifying period you will transition to a permanent

The hours of work on offer will be – Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm with opportunity to work overtime when required.

What you will do:

  • Greeting customers as they enter the store
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Working at the point-of-sale counter to process transactions
  • Assisting customers locate products
  • Cash handling
  • Picking orders when required
  • Data entry

What you will need to be successful for the role:

  • Previous experience working in a customer service-based role
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Background working in steel or metal products would be a bonus but not essential as training will be provided
  • Good computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
  • Committed to a long-term opportunity
  • Adaptable and willing to learn
  • Been fully vaccinated
