The Role

Currently an opportunity exists for a full-time Field Service Technician, which will see you play a pivotal role in ensuring customers forklifts are maintained in excellent condition. Using advanced diagnostic tools and technologies, you will provide fast, accurate and high-quality on-site maintenance, service and repair across the Sydney Metro area. Work vehicle, fuel card, mobile phone and uniform provided

Key Responsibilities

·      Diagnose and repair various forklift models, including hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems.

·      Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections to prevent issues.

·      Utilise advanced diagnostic technology to support daily tasks.

·      Communicate effectively to understand customer needs

·      Provide professional, service and expert advice regarding forklift care and operation.

·      Maintain accurate service records, including work performed and parts used.

·      Collaborate with the service team.

·      Adhere to all safety procedures and environmental regulations.

·      Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and tools.

About You:

·      Relevant Australian Trade Qualifications in automotive or mechanical

·      Hands-on previous experience servicing forklifts (Field work preferred).

·      Familiarity with mobile plant equipment and LPG systems (Not essential).

·      Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.

·      Great customer service and clear communication skills.

·      Unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.

·      Current Forklift licence (An advantage).

·      Ability to work autonomously and in a team.

·      Safety-first attitude with a focus on quality and improvement.

·      Willingness to travel to client sites across Sydney Metro area
