MTC Recruitment have partnered with one of Sydney’s leading manufacturing facilities, who's focus is on producing paper and cardboard packaging for well known household brands. This is an exciting time as they now have the opportunity for an Industrial Packaging Designer to join their team in North Richmond.
The roles focus will be on the development of manufacturable designs from concept to finish product, working alongside a vibrant team who enjoys bouncing ideas from one another, and stepping up to attend client meetings and offer professional advice to key stakeholders.

Key knowledge and skills required:
- Knowledge of CAD system (Artios)
- Understanding of plant machinery (e.g. Die Cutters and Folder Gluers)
- Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group meetings
- Ability to creatively solve problems
- Packaging industry experience highly regarded
- 5+ years of packaging and/or product design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Packaging Engineering or Structural Design
- Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task while meeting critical deadlines
