Our client is one of the largest alternative waste / recycling treatment plants located in Eastern Creek (off the M7) and available right NOW is an opportunity for a Qualified and Australian Recognised Mechanical or Electrical Trade - or Engineering Qualified - Supervisor to play a key role within the maintenance team.


This is a role working 3 days per week (Mon- 6am-3pm Tue- 6am-2pm & Wed-6am-6pm with possible adhoc weekends) for approximately a 3 month period.


EXPERIENCE requirements:

At least 7 years Plant Maintenance or Electrical Maintenance Experience

Experience in Managing workshops, electronic maintenance systems and supervising staff and contractors


Key Objectives include though not limited too:


Safety - Tour property daily, repair hazards or assign completion of these tasks to appropriate maint member.

Maintenance - Direct maintenance optimisation with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance. Working with maintenance and electrical supervisors and planning manager to implement and manage plant maintenance. Monitor the use of spare parts maintaining supply and equipment.

Environmental - Prioritise work which may have an impact on the overall presentation of the site (pumps on and the site processing of water).

Risk Management - Identify and correct hazards.

Continuous Improvement - Implement lean philosophy in workshop and laydown area.

Housekeeping - Ensure all tools, parts, scrap and offcuts are removed at the end of each task.
