Mechanical Fitter

Our client is a specialist surface engineering company founded in 1992 that focuses on the development and application of materials, technologies, and methodologies to increase operating performance and wear life of capital-intensive machinery components.

They are looking for an enthusiastic mechanical fitter to join they team, as a full time employee you will be working for a leading and innovative manufacturing and assembly company that supplies to a variety of industries across Australia.

They are looking for an a Mechanical Fitter/ Assembler, who has a passion for building machinery.

Duties include:

• Mechanical assembly of new machinery
• Rebuilding existing machinery and general maintenance tasks
• Assembly and disassemble equipment

You must have the following qualifications to be successful:

• An Australian Trade Certificate 3 in Mechanical Fitting/Assembly
• Have full Australian working rights
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Follow WHS SOP's and ensure that all maintenance paperwork is completed

The normal hours of work are 7am-3.30pm (subject to change) Monday to Friday, and there is overtime available!!!!
