Parks and Gardens Labourer

MTC Recruitment is currently working with a renowned local council based in Maroubra.

We are currently seeking Experienced Garden Maintenance/Labourer to join their team.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 6am – 3pm, working a 9-day fortnight (Alternate Mondays off)

Pay Rate: $33.46/hour

Role Description

• Mowing lawns in sports field areas – using both push and ride-on mowers
• Planting shrubs and trees
• Pruning / Uplifting
• Mulching
• Weed management
• Use of other garden tools – Brush cutter, Push mower, Blower Etc
• Irrigation Checks
• Litter Picking
• Chainsaw and Chemical spraying permit will be beneficial
• Other duties as required by the client

About the candidate

• Previous garden maintenance/landscaping experience
• Physically fit and able to be on your feet all day
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must have full driver’s license
• Valid MR License is highly desirable
• Can work both as a team or independently
• White card required
• Must be vaccinated for COVID 19
• Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with full working rights
• Available to start immediately
