Production Worker

MTC Recruitment currently have on-call casual roles available for Process Workers / Assemblers to work in a manufacturing environment which produces Garage Doors. The successful candidates will be working on an assembly line putting components together using general hand tools.

What you will do:

•        Assist with the assembly of garage doors on an assembly line

•        Manual handling and moving components and boxes with trolleys within the factory

•        ·Using hand tools such as nail guns, saws and drills

•        Sliding products along a production line

•        Assisting the production staff and general warehousing duties as required

To be considered you will demonstrate the following:

•        Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment

•        A background in Production / Assembly work 

•        General hand and power tool usage ability including ratchets, air drills, spanners, nail guns and other tools

•        Mechanically minded (An advantage)

•        Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

•        Good physically fitness with able to lift up to 20 kilos

·      Flexibility to do other tasks when required

•        Have a great attitude and reliable work ethic

•        Willing to work in a fast-paced environment

•        Must be able to pass a Police Check
