Leading organisation focused on transporting natural minerals, waste management and recycling are looking to appoint a Quarry Manager to their Western Sydney location.
It is essential to have your Quarry Ticket, Cert IV in Surface Extraction Operations, as well as sandstone quarry experience and wash-plant knowledge to be able to build and modify.

It is essential to have your Quarry Ticket, Cert IV in Surface Extraction Operations, as well as sandstone quarry experience and wash-plant knowledge to be able to build and modify.
About the role:
- Accountable for site operates in full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies and procedures
- Monitor and report progress against key operational targets
- Achieve budgeted production costs and production KPI's
- Demonstrated effective leadership behaviors to ensure a highly motivated team
- Have excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation
- Possess high levels of resilience and a determination to deliver successful outcomes
- Utilise your initiative and management skills to identify, manage, and solve issues as they arise
- Experience working in sandstone quarries or associated industries
- Quarry Ticket and Cert IV in Surface Extraction Operations
- Previous Management experience experience
- Exceptional commitment to safety and WHS
- Understanding of the crushing and screening processes
- Wash-plant knowledge with the ability to modify or build
- Mine Managers certification or willing to obtain
- Understanding of relevant Mining legislation
- Drill & Blast experience would be highly regarded
- Experienced in the operation of plant and machinery, FEL, excavators and other quarry mobile plant
