My client is proud to be home to Australia’s most comprehensive range of online steel and metal products located in Revesby. Due to new projects and continued growth, they are requiring an experienced store worker to join their team for an immediate start.

The hours of work on offer will be Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm with opportunity to work overtime when required. This role will be initially working on a casual basis with the view to permanency for the right applicant.

The role:

• Cutting steel
• Using a tape measure to measure steel and metal products
• Picking orders
• Using machinery and other equipment such as overhead cranes, bandsaws, and other hand tools
• Dealing with customers
• Manual handling and lifting up to 25kgs

About you:

• Previous experience in a labour intense role / stores environment
• Ability to perform repetitive manual handling work
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Committed to a long-term opportunity
• Adaptable and willing to learn
• A can-do attitude and self-motivated
• Can work in a team environment
• Fully vaccinated
• Able to start work immediately
