Team Leader / Warehouse Supervisor

My client is a global logistics and transportation company that specialises in bespoke supply chain solutions, e-fulfilment and transportation by air, sea, rail and road.

As a result, we are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Chargehand to work at their busy site in Yennora

The role requires skills that cover:

-         Managing and supervising a team of up to 10 people

-         High reach and counterbalance forklift driving

-         Picking and packing orders

-         RF scanning of products

-         Manual handling of products

-         Loading and unloading trucks

-         Wrapping pallets

-         Receiving and dispatching of products

-         Container unloading and other warehousing tasks as required in a warehouse

To be successful you will:

-         Have strong leadership skills

-         Experience in a team leader or management position

-         Experience using warehouse management systems – SAP preferred

-         Excellent communication skills

-         Have experience and be confident in operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts

-         Have a current LF forklift licence. If you have both LF & LO forklift licences would be an advantage.

-         Be able to work in a fast-paced environment

-         Be able to follow instructions

-         Strong attention to details

-         Physically fit and healthy

-         Be committed to on-going work

-         Flexible to work overtime when required

-         Be able to start work immediately

-         Have full working rights to work in Australia

This role is for an immediate start for the right applicant and would be working on DAY SHIFT. THERE IS NO AFTERNOON SHIFTS AT THIS SITE.
