Warehouse Labourer

Due to new projects and continued growth, they are requiring an experienced Store Workers / Warehouse Labourers to join their team for an immediate start.

This role will be initially working on a casual basis with the view to permanency for the right applicant.

Commencing on the day shift, and after a qualifying period you will transition to a permanent

The hours of work on offer will be – Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm with opportunity to work overtime when required.

What you will do:

• Cutting steel
• Using a tape measure to measure steel and metal products
• Picking orders
• Using machinery and other equipment such as overhead cranes, bandsaws, and other hand tools
• Dealing with customers
• Manual handling and lifting up to 25kilos

What you will need to be successful for the role:

• Previous experience in a labour intense role / stores environment
• Ability to perform repetitive manual handling work
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
• Committed to a long-term opportunity
• Adaptable and willing to learn
• A can-do attitude and self-motivated
• Can work in a team environment
• Been fully vaccinated
• Able to start work immediately
• Have unlimited Australian working rights
• Must have a minimum of 2 doses of COVID 19 vaccines
