Warehouse Manager

In operation for over 80 years, our client services the retail and wholesale market for batteries. They pride themselves on providing quality products through exceptional customer service. They are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the daily operations.

Reporting to the State Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage and lead the team
  • 2 x Stores people
  • 1 x Battery Builder
  • 1 x Truck Driver
  • 3 x Van Drivers
• Enjoy the warehouse is clean and easily accessible for picking orders and monthly cycle counts
• Servicing retail customers who attend site
• Printing picking slips and organising workload
• Hands on helping the team where needed
• Dealing with internal and external stakeholders

To be considered for this position, you will have:

• Previous experience in a similar position
• The ability to manage, lead and train a team
• The ability to assess the current operations and suggest improvements
• Current drivers license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
• Forklift license

The position will require you to work a 38 hour week between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. You will also be required to work 1 Saturday a month from 8:00am to 12 noon. As you will be responsible for organising the staff, you have the ability to work hours that are suitable for yourself and the business.
