The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Service Technician to join a high-performing workshop team. This full-time permanent position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a high-end range of recreational vehicles and contribute to delivering top-tier service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and installation work on high-end Caravans / Recreational Vehicles
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance
- Fit accessories
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Adhere to Workshop procedures
- Follow all WHS procedures
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders eg. Service Advisor / Workshop Controller regarding repairs and estimates
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Maintain a clean and organised Workshop environment
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and manufacturer updates
Ideal person will have:
- A trade background and Qualifications in a related area eg. Automotive, Electrical, Plumbing or cabinetmaking
- Prior hands on repair and service experience in workshop based service environment
- Ability to read technical diagrams
- Previous experience in Caravan / RV servicing or repair (Preferred but not essential)
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, proactive and reliable work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
