Battery Assembler

In operation for over 80 years, our client services the retail and wholesale market for batteries. They pride themselves on providing quality products through exceptional customer service. They are currently seeking an individual to work in their warehouse assembling battery banks.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Assembling batteries in the warehouse and ensuring high levels of quality control
• Wiring of batteries
• Using a forklift and overhead crane to move stock around the warehouse
• Using basic hand and power tools

To be considered for this position, you will have:

• Mechanical aptitude and/or trade skills
• Experience working as a machine operator is desirable
• High attention to detail
• Current driver’s license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
• Forklift license is highly desirable

The position will require you to work a 38-hour week between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. You will also be required to work 1 Saturday a month from 8:00am to 12 noon, which is paid as overtime. To register your interest in this opportunity, please click on the APPLY button.
