About the role

Reporting to the Marrickville Operations Manager, the Business Development Manager (BDM) will focus on generating new business. This position will have a strong focus for the logistics, warehousing and manufacturing industries, of which we have many years of experience recruiting into. You will have access to an extensive list of lapsed clients, but your core focus will be identifying new business. You will work closely with a dedicated team of consultants and account managers who will happily fill the positions you secure.

You will gain success through:

  • Doing the hard yards - sales calls, sales visits and proposals.
  • Understanding MTC in its entirety and leveraging off it.
  • Building a strong relationship with your team.

About you

To be effective in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience working in the recruitment industry as a BDM or Senior Sales Consultant or
  • A sales background in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
  • Previous proven success generating new business.
  • A can-do attitude.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships.
