Machine Operators/Production Workers
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Machine Operators to join our production team. This role involves operating machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Working on a day shift Monday to Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm
Key Responsibilities
· Understanding of product quality requirements and acceptance standards.
· Packaging/Lifting/Carrying of product < 12kgs.
· Production recording.
· Regular housekeeping and routine cleaning of factory floor, machine and associated equipment.
· Standard packaging adjustments.
· Identifying and reporting any quality of product problems e.g. short shots, bubbles and carton issues.
· Maintaining the correct cycle time for machines.
· Compliance to Quality procedures and policy.
· Comply with instruction of workstation/machine layout as per supervisor labor allocation.
· Understanding of granulation requirements for rejected product.
· Able to coordinate and manage time to manage machine allocation.
· Able to complete all counting and labelling and QA requirements, by reading data sheet drawings.
· Able to assemble and package all electrical and plumbing uPVC fittings into carton requirements < 12kgs.
· Able to recognize and inform supervision quality faults such as short shots (these must never be packaged into cartons).
· Observing hourly quality control methods and presentation of product for transportation.
· Attention to detail upon finished product placement onto pallets for specific packaging methods.
· Induction completed.
· Knowledge of accident and emergency procedures.
· Familiarity and understanding of basic extrusion & moulding quality requirements and procedures.
· Possession of strong work ethic, demonstrating reliability, motivation and punctuality.
· Be physically fit and healthy for work. To assemble/package injection moulded fittings and products and fulfil routine production responsibilities. Level 1 duties are relevant to beginning/probationary staff.
