Storeperson / Materials Receiver (Level 1)

Are you a proactive, self-motivated individual who takes pride in keeping operations moving? Our client, a leading plastics manufacturer in Caringbah, is looking for a Level 1 Materials Receiving Storeperson to join their team.

This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who shows initiative and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

The Role:

You will be the backbone of the warehouse, ensuring the safe and efficient flow of materials through the plant. From operating the microniser to managing SAP data entry, you’ll play a vital role in keeping production on track.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Daily Coordination: Liaise with Moulding and 2nd Ops Supervisors to plan the day’s priorities.

·      Logistics & Receiving: Manage incoming deliveries, check documentation, and perform accurate data entry in SAP.

·      Forklift Operations: Conduct daily safety checks and operate machinery for unloading containers and clearing finished goods.

·      Inventory Control: Perform section stocktakes, distribute consumables, and ensure correct material allocation.

·      Material Processing: Operate the microniser machine and manage the storage of recycled materials.

·      Site Maintenance: Maintain a safe workspace by clearing spillages and quarantining damaged goods.

Requirements:

·      Current Forklift License (LF) with proven experience.

·      Experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.

·      Basic computer literacy (SAP experience is a major plus).

·      Physical fitness to handle container unloading and general warehouse duties.
