About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Facilities Coordinator to join our facilities Management team. The purpose of this position is to provide support for MTC’s facilities management and manage facilities enquiries. 

Reporting to the Facilities and Contract Supervisor, key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Championing the introduction and integration of the Facilities Management application software throughout the organisation as well as to approved vendors.
  • Managing service request responses
  • Maintenance works co-ordination and external contractor co-ordination.
  • Co-ordinating and maintaining operational policies, procedures, records, systems, and administrative documents. 

About You

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role within a professional services firm, commercial building management firm, or educational campus.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software for logging and tracking maintenance requests and expenditures.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems, Standards, Codes, Regulations, Rules, Policies, Procedures, and their application.
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions to ensure a compliant environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administration and customer service skills
