Forklift Driver/ Storesperson

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Storeperson / Forklift Driver (LF) to join a long-established specialist manufacturer known for its commitment to innovation, safety, and high‑quality engineered products. Located in Emu Plains (2750), this role offers stability, great working conditions, and the chance to work with a supportive, safety-focused team.

About the Role

This position is available for an immediate start on a 6‑month assignment, with the strong possibility of extension.

You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with possible overtime available.

Pay rate:

• $35 per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled Storeperson with strong forklift experience—particularly high reach and counterbalance—and a focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

● Receive, inspect, and label incoming goods with precision

● Safely operate high reach and counterbalance forklifts

● Support inventory control functions including cycle counts and stocktakes

● Use Warehouse Management Systems accurately and efficiently

● Supply materials to production in a timely and organised manner

● Inspect incoming and outgoing items for damage or discrepancies

● Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures

● Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant

● Assist other departments as required

● Work collaboratively and communicate effectively within the team

What We’re Looking For

● LF Forklift Licence with strong high reach experience

● Basic computer literacy; experience with Microsoft Office or Business Central highly regarded

● Strong attention to detail and accuracy

● Commitment to safe practices and compliance

● Ability to perform manual handling tasks

● Excellent communication and teamwork skills
