MR Driver - Interstate and Regional

Our client is looking for a delivery driver to do1 interstate and 1 regional run per week. They are a distributor of Fresh Oysters, you will be required to deliver in the metro area of Sydney.

Hourly Rate: $40 per hour flat rate

Hours:

Tuesday 2-3pm start – driver to Vic – 12 hours ( each way ) – stay overnight/morning then drive back around 2pm Wednesday

Then Friday driver to Batemans bay 2pm and return ( 10- 11 hours altogether )

ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently seeking candidates with Medium (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) to join our logistics team.

Your duties will include:

• Delivering in and around Sydney.

• Ability to coordinate efficient delivery timeframes to achieve customer expectations with early morning starts and weekend work.

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and ensure oysters are refrigerated within food safety guidelines throughout delivery routes. ( Upto 20kg )

• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.

• Complete logbook and reports in a timely manner.

• Follow COR regulations and safety standards.

• Operate a forklift to unload deliveries off Truck

Attributes required:

• Strong record keeping skills.

• Reliable, pleasant and approachable work style.

• Medium Rigid (minimum) - Truck is automatic

• 2 Years Forklift Experience

The Successful Applicant will have:

• MR Drivers Licence
• Copy of RMS Driving Record
• LF Forklift Licence
