About the Role

We are looking for a  Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Finance team. The Finance team is responsible for effective and efficient financial processes and controls to enable MTC Group to fulfil its vision.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for the below duties, such as:

  • Ensure all revenue processes are accurately documented and in alignment to policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all invoices are created in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform month-end close activities.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide input for revenue forecasting.
  • Produce high quality, accurate and timely Board & Management Reporting.
  • Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of revenue related MTC policies.
  • Staying updated on the accounting standards and regulations related to revenue recognition.
  • Work to identify opportunities for process development.
  • Other duties as required.

About You:

The ideal applicant we are seeking will have:

  • 5 years relevant accounting experience post qualification.
  • CA/CPA Qualification.
  • Accountant or Degree/Tertiary education.
  • Experience with a range of ERP systems (Preferably Technology One).
  • Results-orientated and self motivated with excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Understanding of the not-for-profit sector.
