Financial Accountant – $100K–$120K + Super | North Ryde

The Role:

As the Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the company’s financial operations and ensuring compliance with corporate and statutory reporting requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Managing general ledger reconciliations and ensuring accuracy in financial statements.
• Overseeing month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, including BAS and FBT.
• Supporting internal and external audits as required.
• Collaborating with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA/CA qualification or equivalent (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a similar Financial Accountant role, preferably in a multinational or large organization.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with compliance and reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
